“I Have Noticed a Difference in My Posture, Strength and Wellbeing, and Now Feel Armed With New Ways to Deal With Back Pain
“I decided to start taking Yoga classes for two reasons; one, for health and two, to try and help with injuries to my back and neck from three car accidents I was involved in from the age of 18 to 25! I had previously attended Yoga and Pilates classes with a room full of students and one teacher but, due to an overcrowded class and my stubbornness at looking a failure, would do exercises that I shouldn’t have been doing or doing them wrong and come out with trapped nerves or aches and pains, never to return.
NorburYoga has been a blessing for me as the classes are tailored to each pupil’s needs and, with just my sister in law and myself to teach, Abbie can make sure that neither of us injure ourselves and are getting the most out of each posture. I am now into my second term and have noticed a difference in my posture, strength and wellbeing, and now feel armed with new ways to deal with back pain through stretches and exercises rather than reaching for the painkillers that I hated taking. My NorburYoga classes also give me the chance each week to switch off from the outside world and I always leave feeling reenergized!”
